Be careful what you wish for. You just might get it.

Now, with Neptune and Saturn still in Pisces, is the time for wishing. It’s the time for dreaming up our future, or more likely, for surrendering to the future we’re being given and trusting that it’s the best we could have. If you have thought this is a time for new initiatives, for forward movement, or putting the dream into a reality, then probably you’ve ended up frustrated. I know I have!

Especially with Jupiter in a water sign too (Cancer), you might feel like you’ve been floating along with little sense of direction. It might feel like an eternity. It might feel in-between worlds. And it might be.

But in any case, it won’t last forever. It fact it won’t last much farther than February, when Neptune and Saturn move into Aries for good. Also at that time we’ll be entering the Year of the Horse, as you might’ve heard. So that sounds like movement!

But one thing I am learning at this time is that my need for movement, for goals, for the next clear adventure, is often a distraction from what really matters. Now is the time for purifying our motives and purifying our souls so that whatever the next movement or goal or adventure is, that it aligns with our Highest Self and Highest Goals.

Consider yourself like Daniel-san, the Karate Kid. He thought he was going to learn Karate; instead he had to paint fences and wax cars. Little did he know though that he was learning karate. He was being prepared.

The cosmic forces are wiser than us. Thankfully they are more patient than us. Let’s be grateful for it, accepting of however life is now because now is exactly as it should be.

Especially with the holidays coming up, let’s ask not what can I get but what do I have. Let’s deepen into gratitude, which is always a choice and always a healing balm.

Later we can move.
