Discover Your Hidden Pearls
What begins as a source of pain or distress can become, like the oyster’s pearl, a source of beauty and pride. t’s not enough though, as James Hillman suggests, to merely cover our pain. We have to rescue it from the depths and then we have to wear it.
What a wonderful symbol of the healing journey! It involves pain - to the extent that the source of our pain is covered and hidden away. It involves, later, confronting the darkness - an uncertain and unsettling process. It involves letting go, releasing what we have become accustomed to. And it involves vulnerability, being willing to show what is inside and allow others to help us and connect to us. Ultimately though it creates beauty, sparkle, and wonder.

I love astrology… I love it, one, because it’s helped me a great deal. I also love it because it’s endlessly mysterious and fascinating.
In addition to astrology, I’m interested in questions of how we can adapt to a rapidly changing and, in many ways, collapsing world. I am interested in—maybe compelled is a better word—towards healing and healing practices. I seek to live gently even as the world around is rushing. To trust the currents of unknowing and uncertainty. To allow rather than force.
We’re all figuring out how to live, what we’re here for, where we’re headed, and how to move there. None of us really have the answers but together I trust we can find them.
In addition to one-on-one sessions, I offer courses and workshops. I’m offering a course, the Art of Astrology, through the Academy of Attunement. I also host occasional events at Mystic Flora Apothecary.
